Tour Plan
Arrive & Explore Old Delhi
Attractions : Jama Masjid | Chandni Chowk | Red Fort
Your driver will meet you at Indira Gandhi International Airport holding a sign with your name, so there's no scrambling for taxis on day one. After a smooth hotel check-in, you head straight into the organized chaos of Old Delhi. The Red Fort anchors the skyline, Jama Masjid is one of India's grandest mosques, and Chandni Chowk is the kind of market that makes you forget what time it is.
New Delhi Sightseeing
Attractions : Qutub Minar | India Gate | Humayun's Tomb | Lotus Temple | Rashtrapati Bhawan
After breakfast, a full day through New Delhi's wide boulevards and landmark monuments. Qutub Minar dates back to 1193, Humayun's Tomb gave the Taj Mahal its design DNA. India Gate stands as a sobering war memorial. The Lotus Temple is architecturally stunning even if you have zero interest in the Bahá'í Faith. Overnight in Delhi.
Delhi to Agra
Attractions : Mehtab Bagh | Itimad-ud-Daulah (Baby Taj)
Check out after breakfast and make the drive to Agra in your private AC car. Once you arrive and settle in, the afternoon opens up for a quieter side of Agra’s Mehtab Bagh, across the Yamuna River, giving you an unobstructed Taj Mahal view at sunset without the crowds. Then visit Itimad-ud-Daulah, the so-called Baby Taj, which actually predates the Taj Mahal and is just as intricate. Overnight in Agra.
Agra Sightseeing
Attractions : Taj Mahal at sunrise | Agra Fort | Sikandra
Your driver picks you up at 6:00 AM. Yes, that early. The Taj Mahal at sunrise, when the light is soft and the crowds are thin, is the reason people travel halfway around the world. After returning for breakfast and a well-earned rest, the afternoon brings Agra Fort, a massive red sandstone complex that doubles as a Mughal history lesson and Sikandra, Akbar's tomb. Overnight in Agra.
Agra to Jaipur via Fatehpur Sikri
Attractions : Fatehpur Sikri (en route)
Check out after breakfast and head toward Jaipur. The route passes through Fatehpur Sikri, the city Emperor Akbar built as his capital and mysteriously abandoned just 15 years later. Historians still debate why. It's eerie, beautiful, and completely intact. Arrive in Jaipur by evening and check in. Overnight in Jaipur.
Jaipur Sightseeing
Attractions : Amber Fort | City Palace | Hawa Mahal | Jal Mahal | Jantar Mantar
The Pink City earns its nickname nearly everything is washed in terracotta rose. Start with Amber Fort, where the elephant ride up the ramparts sets the tone for the day. Hawa Mahal's 953 latticed windows were built so royal that women could observe street life without being seen by clever architecture, remarkable story. Drive past Jal Mahal floating on the lake, then explore Jantar Mantar (the 18th-century astronomical observatory that still works) and City Palace. Wrap up with time in the local markets. Overnight in Jaipur.
Jaipur to Delhi, Departure
After Breakfast, drive back to Delhi for your international departure. Your driver drops you directly at the airport. You leave with a clearer sense of India's history than most people get in a lifetime.
Note: This itinerary is fully customizable around your flight schedule. Just let us know.

Just did the half day tour of New Delhi with Asif and had an awesome and educated experience. Asif's personability, knowledge and ability to articulate the background and highlights... read more of each historical location were greatly appreciated and equally enjoyable. My personal favorite part of the tour was Mahatma Ghandi's home. If you do want a full day, ask for Asif...you won't be sorry!

We had an excellent afternoon tour guided by Asif. He was very knowledgable about all of the sites and very responsive to exactly what we wanted to see and do.... read more We were traveling with our almost 4 yo and both he and our driver Azad were especially attentive to our needs touring with a child- as well as being very kind and friendly to her (and all of us). In addition to giving a lot of helpful information about each site, Asif also had some great historical and cultural details to add about Delhi in general (which we did not experience with two other guides we had on our trip). Highly recommed any tour with Asif, it was so positive we made sure to book him for another tour!
