Tour Plan
Arrive and Discover Delhi
Your driver picks you up from Delhi airport or hotel and transfers you to your accommodation. In the afternoon, your guide meets you at the hotel and takes you through Delhi's most iconic attractions : Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Qutub Minar, Humayun's Tomb, India Gate, the President's House (exterior), Parliament (exterior), and the serene Lotus Temple. Return to the hotel for rest.
Delhi to Agra: The City of Love
You head out early for the 210 km drive to Agra roughly 2 hours 45 minutes via the expressway. After check-in and breakfast, your guide takes you to the Taj Mahal, the white marble masterpiece Emperor Shah Jahan built for his wife Mumtaz Mahal in the 17th century. Next, you visit Agra Fort, constructed by Emperor Akbar in the 15th century and still one of the most impressive Mughal structures in India. The day ends at Mehtab Bagh, the moonlit garden that offers a quiet, stunning view of the Taj at sunset.
Agra to Jaipur via Fatehpur Sikri
En route to Jaipur, you stop at Fatehpur Sikri, a perfectly preserved Mughal city that was abandoned after just 15 years, likely due to water shortages. Nobody quite agrees on the exact reason, which makes it even more fascinating. On arrival in Jaipur, you check in and spend the afternoon exploring City Palace (a beautiful blend of Rajput and Mughal architecture), Jantar Mantar (an 18th-century open-air observatory that actually worked), and Hawa Mahal the Palace of Winds, built so royal women could watch street processions without being seen.
Jaipur Sightseeing: Forts, Elephants, and Bazaars
Morning begins at Amber Fort, perched on a hillside above the city. The elephant ride to the top is one of those experiences families talk about for years. The fort itself rewards slow exploration terraced courtyards, mirrored halls, and panoramic views over Jaipur below. In the afternoon, you have free time to wander Jaipur's famous markets. The city's bazaars sell everything from block-printed textiles and blue pottery to precious stones and the haggling is half the fun.
Jaipur to Jodhpur
After breakfast, your private vehicle takes you west to Jodhpur, the Blue City of Rajasthan. The drive gives you a chance to watch the landscape shift from green plains to the sandy edges of the Thar Desert. Check in at your hotel and take the rest of the day to settle in.
Jodhpur: Forts, Marble, and Blue Rooftops
Jodhpur rewards those who've made it this far. You start with Mehrangarh Fort, one of India's largest forts, rising dramatically from a sandstone hill over the city. Inside, Moti Mahal and Phool Mahal (the Pearl and Flower Palaces) are genuinely breathtaking. From there, you visit Jaswant Thada, a delicate white marble memorial from the 18th century often compared (modestly) to the Taj. A short stop at Umaid Public Gardens rounds out the afternoon.
Jodhpur to Delhi: Departure
After breakfast, your driver transfers you to Jodhpur airport for a short flight back to Delhi, or you can drive directly to Delhi if you prefer. From Delhi, you connect to your international flight home. Seven days, four cities, one unforgettable circuit.
Note: This itinerary is a starting point. We can adjust it around your flight times, add extra nights, or extend to other destinations. Just ask.
FAQ's
How many days do I need for the Golden Triangle Tour with Jodhpur?
Seven days is the sweet spot for most travellers. It gives you enough time to explore Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, and Jodhpur properly without spending every evening repacking your suitcase. If you want a more relaxed pace, 9 days works beautifully.
Can I customise this itinerary?
Absolutely. You can add destinations, upgrade to luxury hotels, swap activities, or extend your stay in any city.
Is private transportation included throughout?
Yes. A private, air-conditioned vehicle and professional driver handle every transfer. You’re never sharing a bus with strangers or hunting for taxis.
Is Jodhpur worth adding to the Golden Triangle?
Completely. Most travellers who visit say Jodhpur surprised them the most. The blue-painted old city, the scale of Mehrangarh Fort, and the slower Rajasthani pace make it the kind of place you didn’t know you needed until you arrived.
What's the best time of year to travel?
October through March. Temperatures across all four cities are comfortable for walking and sightseeing. Summers in North India (April–June) can hit 45°C, so unless you have a particular reason to visit then, the cooler months are simply better.
Is it safe for international tourists?
The Delhi-Agra-Jaipur-Jodhpur circuit is one of India’s most visited and well-established tourist routes. You’ll have a professional driver, a licensed guide, vetted accommodation, and 24/7 support throughout the tour.

We loved this tour of Old Delhi! It was a highlight of our trip! The tuk tuk driver and the tour guide were both great! What an experience it was... read more riding in the tuk tuk through wall to wall traffic of cars, motorcycles, rickshaws, bicycles, motorcycles, etc. Kudos to our driver for maneuvering through all this safely! We visited a spice shop, a jewelry/accessory/ souvenir shop, and even a school where we were able to meet the teacher and the children. It was a wonderful visit, never to be forgotten! Thank you for the fantastic tour!!!!
