Tour Plan

Delhi Sightseeing + Drive to Agra

Attractions: India Gate, Humayun's Tomb, Lotus Temple, Presidential Buildings

Your guide meets you at your Delhi hotel or the airport no scavenger hunt required. The morning takes you through Delhi's most impressive landmarks: Humayun's Tomb, a 16th-century Mughal masterpiece that quietly inspired the Taj Mahal; the grand sweep of India Gate; the iconic Lotus Temple; and the exterior of Rashtrapati Bhavan and Parliament House.

Once Delhi is done, you hit the Yamuna Expressway toward Agra roughly a three-hour drive. Check into your hotel, rest, and let the city settle around you. Tomorrow starts early.

Agra to Jaipur via Fatehpur Sikri

Attractions: Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, Fatehpur Sikri

Your guide and driver are ready at the hotel. You head straight to the Taj Mahal ideally at sunrise, when the light does things to white marble that photographs can't fully capture. Built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in the 17th century as a tribute to his wife Mumtaz Mahal, it's one of those rare places that genuinely lives up to the hype.

Back to the hotel for breakfast, then check out and move on to Agra Fort, a vast red sandstone structure that served as the seat of Mughal power for generations. En route to Jaipur, you'll pass through Fatehpur Sikri, a ghost city built as a tribute to a Sufi saint and abandoned shortly after. By evening, you arrive in Jaipur, the Pink City, and the final act of this tour.

Jaipur Sightseeing + Return to Delhi

Attractions: Amber Fort, City Palace, Jantar Mantar, Hawa Mahal, Jal Mahal

Jaipur earns its reputation. The morning starts at Amber Fort you ride up on elephant-back to the palace gates, which is exactly as memorable as it sounds. Inside, the mirrored Sheesh Mahal dazzles in a way that's hard to describe without sounding like a travel brochure.

From there, City Palace blends Hindu and Mughal architecture in a way that reflects Jaipur's layered history. Jantar Mantar, an 18th-century open-air observatory built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II is genuinely fascinating even if astronomy isn't your thing. Hawa Mahal, the five-storey latticed "Palace of Winds," was built so royal women could watch street processions without being seen. You'll want photos here. Finally, a drive past Jal Mahal, the water palace that appears to float in the middle of Man Sagar Lake.

After lunch (on your own there are excellent options nearby), your driver heads back to Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport for your departure.

Note: This itinerary is a strong starting point, not a rigid script. We're happy to adjust the schedule around your flight times or personal priorities.
