We had an excellent tour with the multilingual Asif Kahn. He was extremely knowledgeable, knowing the dates and detailed history of every site we visited. His English is... read more excellent and he is clear and easy to understand. We spent nearly two hours walking through the Red Fort and got a comprehensive overview. Not only does he know historical details, but he places them within a broader context of successive ruling empires of India. Asif has a passion for the history and a love of the art and architecture of the sites that really shows and enhances the experience.
Other pluses: Asif buys the tickets for you and is able to get to the head of the line to do so, meaning you don't spend any time waiting. The driver is always there to pick you up immediately when you are leaving any given site. Everything is efficient and smooth.
You are given the opportunity to buy Kashmiri and other Indian handicrafts at one point during the tour. This can be a great opportunity to pick up gifts, although this part of the tour ran a little long for me.
Finally, Asif graciously took many pictures of us in front of many different sites, taking care to compose them well and get good light. This was a really nice bonus!
Overall this was an excellent experience and we highly recommend it to others.
