Tour Plan

Arrive in Delhi

Your journey starts the moment you land. The driver picks you up from Indira Gandhi International Airport and transfers you to your hotel. After check-in, an approved guide meets you in the afternoon for a full city sweep: Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Qutub Minar, Humayun's Tomb, India Gate, the Lotus Temple, and a drive past the Presidential and Parliament buildings. Delhi is enormous and ancient; the guide makes sense of both.

Delhi to Agra

Leave early and arrive in Agra (about 2 hours 45 minutes via expressway) before the midday heat sets in. After check-in, head to the Taj Mahal built in the 17th century by Emperor Shah Jahan for his queen Mumtaz, and still impossibly beautiful in person. From there, visit Agra Fort, constructed by Emperor Akbar in the 15th century. End the afternoon at Mehtab Bagh, the garden across the river, for a quiet sunset view of the Taj with almost no crowds.

Agra to Jaipur via Fatehpur Sikri

The drive to Jaipur passes through Fatehpur Sikri, a complete Mughal city that Emperor Akbar built in 1581 and abandoned shortly after the reasons are still debated. It's one of India's most haunting and under-visited monuments. Arrive in Jaipur in the afternoon and head out to City Palace (a blend of Rajput and Mughal architecture done exactly right), Jantar Mantar Observatory, and Hawa Mahal the five-story "Palace of Winds" built so royal women could watch festivals from behind its latticed windows without being seen.

Jaipur Sightseeing

Morning starts at Amber Fort, just outside the city walls and perched on a hilltop. Take an elephant ride to the entrance. It's theatrical, memorable, and genuinely fun. The fort's mirror-work interiors and hilltop views of the surrounding landscape make it the highlight of most Jaipur visits. The afternoon is yours to explore Jaipur's famous bazaars: block-printed textiles, blue pottery, and bangles are all fair game.

Jaipur to Udaipur

Today is a travel day. Settle into the car, watch the Rajasthan landscape shift, and arrive in Udaipur the "City of Lakes" by evening. Check in and rest. Tomorrow earns it.

Udaipur Sightseeing

Udaipur moves at a different pace, slower, more romantic, built around water. Start with the City Palace and Museum, the largest palace complex in Rajasthan, which holds centuries of royal artifacts inside. Then visit Lake Pichola, Udai Sagar, and Pratap Sagar. Spent the rest of the day drifting between Saheliyon ki Bari (a garden built for the queen's handmaidens), Jagdish Temple, Jag Mandir, and the Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandir folk museum. Udaipur

Departure

After breakfast, head to Udaipur Airport for your onward flight or opt for a road transfer back to Delhi if your international flight departs from there. Either way, the tour ends with four cities, six nights, and a perspective on India that most visitors spend weeks trying to piece together.

Note: This itinerary is a starting point. We customize it around your flight schedule, travel pace, and preferences.

Is this a good fit for first-time visitors to India?

Can I customize the itinerary?

Absolutely. Add a tiger safari at Ranthambore, extend to Jodhpur (the Blue City), or continue to Varanasi for a Ganges sunrise. Hotels can be upgraded to heritage properties, and the pace adjusts for families or senior travelers. Just ask.
