Golden Triangle Tour with Varanasi

Duration

6 days

Overview

See the India That Most Tourists Never Reach
Delhi’s chaos. Agra’s silence at sunrise. Jaipur’s painted palaces. Varanasi’s fire-lit riverbanks at dusk. The Golden Triangle Tour with Varanasi connects four of India’s most extraordinary cities each wildly different, each unforgettable in its own right.
This isn’t a whistle-stop bus tour. It’s a private, guided 6-day journey through centuries of history, culture, and living tradition designed for travelers who want the real India, not just the postcard version.

Tour Plan

Delhi City Tour + Evening Drive to Agra.

Your guide meets you at your hotel or the airport between 8:00 and 9:00 a.m. From there, you spend the day exploring both Old and New Delhi, two cities that feel centuries apart despite sharing the same postcode. You'll take a break for lunch as you cross from the old city to the new, then set off for Agra in the afternoon.

That evening, check into a hotel with a direct view of the Taj Mahal. Yes, your room overlooks one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Settle in.

Jaipur City Sightseeing

The Pink City earns its reputation fast. Your day opens at Hawa Mahal the Palace of Winds before moving on to the grand City Palace Complex, which covers a full seventh of the old city. You'll visit Jantar Mantar, a 300-year-old astronomical observatory that still works, and Amber Palace, perched on a hillside above the valley.

The hidden gem? Panna Meena Ka Kund, a stunning geometric stepwell just minutes from Amber Palace, the kind of place most tourists walk straight past.

Agra Sightseeing via Fatehpur Sikri

After breakfast, you travel from Jaipur toward Agra via Fatehpur Sikri the Mughal ghost city built by Emperor Akbar and abandoned just 15 years later. You'll explore Jama Masjid, Buland Darwaza (the world's tallest gateway), the Palace of Jodha Bai, Birbal Bhavan, and Panch Mahal.

After lunch, the tour continues through Jaipur's City Palace, the Royal Jantar Mantar Observatory, and the local bazaar, a great spot where you can shop for authentic Indian souvenir to take home. Check into your Jaipur hotel for the night.

Agra Sightseeing → Overnight Train to Varanasi

Before breakfast, you stand in front of the Taj Mahal as the sun rises behind it. Few travel moments compare to this one. After breakfast back at the hotel, you check out and head to the Agra Fort, a red-sandstone fortress rising above the banks of the Yamuna, with a history as dramatic as its architecture.

That evening, you board an overnight train to Varanasi. It's one of the great Indian travel experiences in itself.

Varanasi Arrival + Full-Day Sightseeing

Your guide meets you at Varanasi station and takes you to your hotel. After some time to rest and freshen up, you head out for a full day of sightseeing  the ghats, the temples, the winding alleyways of one of the world's oldest continuously inhabited cities.

Varanasi doesn't look like anywhere else on earth. Your guide will make sure you understand why.

Ganges Boat Ride + Departure to Delhi

The day starts on the river. An early-morning boat ride along the Ganges gives you a front-row view of Varanasi's spiritual life: the rituals, the prayers, the smoke rising from the ghats. It's a quietly moving experience that tends to stay with people long after they've gone home.

After breakfast, your transfer to the airport departs. When you land in Delhi, our team meets you at the international terminal to assist with your onward journey.
